The month of July has gone by fast and the month of August is soon approaching. August always reminds me of starting a new year. I always have associated the end of August with being the beginning of a new year as opposed to January 1st. This probably stems from years of the anticipation of starting the school year. I love this time of year because I love office supplies so the stores being full of school supplies makes me happy. As like some of you who may or may not be shopping for the new school year it is also a time to assess the past few months of 2016 and start some of those things/goals that you may have pushed aside. The next few months are a great time to get started on some of those things you still wish to accomplish. Get into a rhythm of fulfilling and achieving them before we go into the slowdown of the fall and winter season.
Finish those projects around the house, go to those little destinations around town, read that book that has been sitting on the shelf, have friends over for a little dinner party. Do whatever it is that your heart has desired.
A few weeks back I created a little list for myself of the places I wanted to go to around town that I have been meaning to go for a long time. I have started to check them off one by one.
I suggest you create your own list and check them off one by one during the rest of the summer. It does not have to be anything expensive or extravagant. Matter of fact many of the items on my list are free.
If you have specific goals you want to achieve or create and you need some guidance you should click on over to my services page. I also offer a great little downloadable course that supports and guides you to Just Get Started on any goal or desire you are trying to achieve.
Leave me a comment below and let me know what are some of the things you hope to achieve.
