As the year winds down and we say goodbye to 2016 many of us tend to do some self-reflection. We look at the past year and start making a long list in our heads of all the things we did not accomplish. Instead of listing the things you did not do, starting making a mental note of all the things you did accomplish. These things got you to the place you are at right now. Take a moment to really reflect on and acknowledge all that you have done. You may have started something new, lost weight, spent more time with family and friends or finally read that book you’ve wanted to read for a long time. No matter how big or small give yourself some credit. Kudos to you. Pat yourself on the back! I personally have acknowledged the fact that I started my business in 2016, finally understand the importance of self-care and have released many things that have held me back.
